Without a view of the upperparts, I keep wondering what a first calendar year ‘Arabian’ Shrike would look like. Given they breed as early as December, I wonder how much like this they would look. But presumably they would lack the full supercilium running over bill, such an extensive white scapular area and the buffy underparts?
